Ada

Animal Care Attendant
Ada grew up in London Ontario, attending H.B. Beal Secondary School and studied art and advertising. After graduating, she continued her education at Pebec School of Esthetics and completed her studies in 1985. Ada started and ran a successful esthetics salon, but life had other plans for Ada, so she moved to the USA. In the United States, Ada lived in West Palm Beach, Florida and Marion, Indiana, before moving back to Canada in 1991. Once back, Ada worked for a number of years in management before realizing, “I would be much happier working with animals.” In 1999, she completed a course in Animal Science and was hired at the London Humane Society. There she worked as an animal care attendant and cremation technician. Ada joined our family in February 2001 and her skills and knowledge have made her an asset in all areas of the clinic, most recently, as our main receptionist. When not at work, Ada enjoys many outdoor activities including scuba diving, rock climbing and trail riding. She and her husband have two sons. Their family is completed with two dogs, a cat, and one of the most amazing African grey parrots we have ever met.
