Ada grew up in London Ontario, attending H.B. Beal Secondary School and studied art and advertising. After graduating, she continued her education at Pebec School of Esthetics and completed her studies in 1985. Ada started and ran a successful esthetics salon, but life had other plans for Ada, so she moved to the USA. In the United States, Ada lived in West Palm Beach, Florida and Marion, Indiana, before moving back to Canada in 1991.
Once back, Ada worked for a number of years in management before realizing, “I would be much happier working with animals.” In 1999, she completed a course in Animal Science and was hired at the London Humane Society. There she worked as an animal care attendant and cremation technician. Ada joined our family in February 2001 and her skills and knowledge have made her an asset in all areas of the clinic, most recently, as our main receptionist.
When not at work, Ada enjoys many outdoor activities including scuba diving, rock climbing and trail riding. She and her husband have two sons. Their family is completed with two dogs, a cat, and one of the most amazing African grey parrots we have ever met.
What is Lyme Disease?

With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we are pleased to advise that effective May 19, 2020 some restrictions on veterinary practices have been lifted. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.
1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!
2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us. We will take a history of your pet's health and discuss any concerns. A staff member will then meet you outside to bring your pet into the hospital for an examination. The Veterinarian will call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to you outside, and take care of any needed medications and payment.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.
Continue with curbside pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".
